My reaction to the work posted above was pure awe. I was wide-eyed when I saw the big blue plastic bottle dress and was instantly inspired. I realized that I can use plastics of ALL types in my work. I also loved the weaving and knotting in the plastic mask piece, and it was very clear what the content was. I hope to be that clear and direct with my pieces to better communicate what I want to show with my works and the environmental side.
