For my first project this quarter, I am going to create an inverse blouse. Last quarter I did the inverse skirt and that was successful to a certain extent. I did not get to tie up a few loose ends but I have used those to fuel this project. Instead of wire I am using wood, specifically embroidery hoops. These will provide some of the structure to the form and will be tied together with a thin string. I have a rod in the front that supports the main top, middle, and lower layers of the shirt. I used a thick rope like tie at first but decided to switch it out with a thinner less noticeable string. I’m hoping to really work on craftsmanship, and am trying to refine my materials. I still haven’t decided what fabrics to use.
